Holistic vet, conservationist, plantbased chef
Born & raised in Spain, parents from Belgium. Became a vet in 2002 after wanting g to be once since I was 6. Owned my own practice for 5 years in 2011, sold it after a massive depression and disappointment with the profession. In that year I published my first book a manual for pet parents to be able to help their pet in an emergency situation. Written in Spanish, 2000 copies printed and sold. Tried cooking as plan B as was also passionate about it, entered masterchef in Spain but lasted just one month. Became plantbased which helped with my health issues a lot. Travelled to many countries , ended up missing vet medicine and started working in London, on vacations I would spend my money earned travelling to conservation projects around the world helping animals. Moved to the Netherlands where I learned about holistic medicine and veterinary Chinese medicine, loved it! I didn’t love the Netherlands though so moved away, I did both holistic medicine and plant based cheffing for a while, worked also on boats as love the ocean and travelling. In 2021 published second book about my life, how I transitioned from being a depressed suicidal vet to a travelling conservationist, holistic vet and plantbased chef being fulfilled and happy. Currently I bought my house in southern Spain where I combine both passions, creating courses to sell online to inspire more people into holistic living both for animals and humans.
